AIG Short Term Fund is an open-ended income scheme that seeks to generate income from a portfolio constituted of short to medium term debt and money market securities.
This scheme is meant for investors looking for an actively managed aggressive portfolio with a relatively higher Mark to Market component (as compared to AIG India Liquid Fund and AIG India Treasury Fund).
Under normal market conditions, the average maturity will remain below 2.5 years.

All the above plans will have a common portfolio. However, the returns under each Plan are expected to vary having regard to the specified expense ratio under the relevant Plan.

The Scheme offers Growth option, Bonus Option and Dividend option. The Dividend option offers:

Dividend Reinvestment Option
Weekly - Every Monday
Monthly - 25th of every month
In case of Weekly and Monthly dividend options, if any of the day(s) mentioned is a non Business Day, the dividend will be declared on the next Business Day. The dividend will be declared subject to availability and adequacy of distributable surplus.

In the case of transactions through STP, the minimum installment amount shall be Rs. 1,000/-.
The minimum amount in case of inter/ intra scheme (inter plan/inter option) switches shall be the minimum amount required in the respective transferee scheme/plan.

*In terms of SEBI circular no. SEBI/IMD/CIR No.4/ 168230/09 dated June 30, 2009, no entry load will be charged by the Scheme to the investor effective August 1, 2009. Upfront commission shall be paid directly by the investor to the AMFI registered Distributors based on the investors' assessment of various factors including the service rendered by the distributor.
