AIG Quarterly Interval Fund - Series I

AIG Quarterly Interval Fund seeks to generate returns while endeavoring to manage interest rate volatility over the interval period through a portfolio of fixed income securities.


This scheme is primarily meant for investors looking at avenues to deploy their surplus funds over the interval period. The fund will be managed according to the investment objective, thereby seeking to give investors returns while endeavoring to manage interest rate volatility over the interval period.


LIQUIDITY


The Scheme is an interval scheme and units of the scheme shall be available for subscription / switch-in and redemptions / switch-out on/ during specified transaction period.


Specified Transaction Period is the period during which units of the Series/Plan(s) under the Scheme are available for Subscription/ Redemption / Switch-in/ switchouts, without payment of any exit load provided such a day is a Business Day. In case such a day is a non-business day, then the immediate next business day shall be considered as the “Specified Transaction Period”.


The Specified Transaction Period would be 91st day from the immediately preceding Specified Transaction Period of the respective plan(s).


However the scheme will also offer redemption on all other business days, other than Specified Transaction Period, subject to applicable Exit Load.


While redemption and switch-out are allowed on all other business days also subject to applicable exit loads, other than the “Specified Transaction Period”, subscription for purchase of units will be accepted only on / during the defined “Specified Transaction Period”.


However, the AMC reserves the right to change/ alter the “Specified Transaction Period”, depending on the prevailing the market conditions and to protect the interest of the investors.

All the above plans will have a common portfolio. However, the returns under each Plan are expected to vary having regard to the specified expense ratio under the relevant Plan.

Investment Objective AIG Quarterly Interval Fund seeks to generate returns while endeavoring to manage interest rate volatility over the interval period through a portfolio of fixed income securities.

There is no assurance that the objective of the scheme will be realized and the scheme does not assure or guarantee any returns.
Asset Allocation The Scheme will invest the entire corpus in debt and money market securities. There will be no investment in equity and equity related products. Under normal circumstances, it is anticipated that the asset allocation shall be as follows:

The Scheme may invest in derivatives up to 100% of the net assets of the Scheme for the purpose of hedging and portfolio balancing purposes.

Dividend option

The dividend option offers dividend Payout & Dividend Reinvestment Facilities. Under dividend option, dividend subject to distributable surplus shall be declared on 91st day from the date of allotment of units. Subsequent dividend would be distributed on the 91st day from the immediately preceding specified transaction period. In case such a day is a non-business day, then the dividend shall be declared on the next business day.
Minimum Application Amount Retail Plan: Rs. 10,000/- and in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter.

Institutional Plan: Rs. 1 crore and in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter.
Minimum Additional Application Amount Retail Plan: Rs. 1000/- and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

Institutional Plan: Rs 1 Lac and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

*In terms of SEBI circular no. SEBI/IMD/CIR No.4/ 168230/09 dated June 30, 2009, no entry load will be charged by the Scheme to the investor effective August 1, 2009. Upfront commission shall be paid directly by the investor to the AMFI registered Distributors based on the investors' assessment of various factors including the service rendered by the distributor.
